What is the reason behind forming this association?

The main objectives of this association are:

A. The aim of the association is to represent its members collectively to take legal recourse for safeguarding the investment of its members who have been cheated by the developer

“WTC NOIDA Development Company Pvt. Ltd.” To achieve this goal, the association will represent its members collectively before all government/ non-government bodies.

This includes, without any exception, police, NOIDA/ Greater Noida authority, National Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, National Human Rights Commission, RERA, NCLT, SEBI, ED and other concerned authorities.

B. To file cases in respective courts and represent the investors in legal dispute resolution against WTC Noida Development Company Pvt. Ltd., for this to appoint lawyers and other support staff and consultants.

C. To initiate and participate in all activities which can help in the recovery of dues, directly or indirectly, from WTC Noida Development Company Pvt. Ltd.

D. To protect the collective interest of every kind, i.e. commercial, legal, maintenance, construction, etc., of the registered member of the association to cover all towers/flats/units, projects, etc.

E. To represent the association at various forums, the appropriate government, Judicial or quasi-Judicial government, statutory and other authorities, including local municipal bodies, authorities, builders, developers, the Association of builders & developers and other similar organisations.

F. To perform such other legal and lawful acts that may be necessary in the collective interest of members of the association.

G. To work for the well-being and rights of the members and their legal heirs, authorised representative, etc., who are owners of the residential/commercial units, projects anywhere in India.

H. To work towards greater unity among members and to strive towards resolving the existing and prospective issues of members;

I. To create awareness among the general public regarding the person/persons cheated by builders and developers.

What are the benefits of joining your association?

Our association is committed to securing justice for all victims of WTC Noida Development Company Pvt Ltd and protecting the investments of its members for WTC projects at Plot TZ 13 A & TZ 13 B at Tech Zone, Greater NOIDA and the project WTC CBD at the Plot A-02-1, Sector 132, Noida. Beyond this, we also aim to build a strong platform that supports individuals who have been misled or cheated by builders. By joining us, members become part of a collective effort to create a safer, more transparent environment for property buyers, ensuring accountability and safeguarding consumer rights. Anyone with the above objectives is welcome to join us.

Can I join your association if I am already a member of another group?

All customers cheated by WTC Noida in the projects at Plot TZ-13A & TZ-13B, Tech Zone Greater Noida, and WTC CBD at Plot A-02-1, Sector 132 Noida, are welcome to join us.

Together, we aim to strengthen and complement ongoing actions against WTC Noida to safeguard our investments.

If I already have a case filed in NCLT, NCDRC, RERA, or a local court, etc.; do I need to withdraw it before joining?

No, though we encourage you to honestly consider your prospects given your situation and draw upon the power of collective action.

How will the association support me in pursuing my legal case?

Collectively, we constitute a strong force dedicated to restoring rightful property ownership to our members, ensuring completion of unfinished work through lawful means to enhance asset value, or pursuing recovery by way of refunds with applicable interest and penalties, thereby enabling members to reclaim their hard-earned investments.

What legal expenses should I expect as a member?

The legal expenses are proportionate to the number of investors joining the association. Increased participation reduces the individual cost per member, leveraging the advantage of collective strength. United, we can succeed.

What are the membership fees?

Annual membership fee: ₹1,000/-

One-time joining fee: ₹2,000

Are legal expenses included in the subscription fees?

We maintain full transparency—any legal or related actions, along with associated costs, are openly discussed, and if necessary, we will request proportionate contributions.

How long has your association been active?

We came into existence in June 2025 by registering under the Society Registration Act.

What milestones or achievements has the association accomplished so far?

In just four months, we reinstated rent payments and cleared outstanding arrears for delivered projects, including Tech-1, Tech-2, and WTC One-C in Greater Noida. This was achieved through constructive collaboration with all stakeholders, most notably Micromax as the tenant, and by overcoming roadblocks with RSK, the current trustees. Our next priority is to establish a permanent resolution to the Trust and rental challenges faced by customers across all delivered projects.

We are also initiating actions to restore rightful property ownership to our members and ensure the completion of pending work through appropriate legal channels. These efforts aim to maximise asset value or, where necessary, pursue recovery by securing refunds with applicable interest and penalties—so that members can reclaim their hard-earned money.

How does the association plan to deal with Delivered Projects and its future?

Once we secure the support of the majority of investors in Tec 1 &2 and One A,B ,and C in the Delivered projects, our plan is to resolve the issues related to Regularity of Tenency, Timely Disbursement of Rents and regularity in statements of accounts etc . Mainly focussing on the Management of the Trust as per the INDIAN Trust Act, If Required to form our own Trust.

I have received a refund order from RERA — what steps should I take to actually recover my money?

Securing a refund order from RERA is a significant achievement; however, actual recovery remains highly challenging as the builder has diverted funds across multiple avenues.

Consequently, one of our key priorities is to assume control of the undelivered projects as an association, complete their construction, and ensure that investors begin receiving rental income from their properties.

The Enforcement Directorate has attached all WTC assets, including Plot TZ-13A and TZ-13B at Tech Zone, Greater Noida, as well as Plot A-02-1 in Sector 132, Noida. What does this mean for our status now?

We appreciate the ED’s action against WTC Noida and Ashish Bhalla—better late than never.

The attachment of these assets at least guarantees they will not be further misused. That said, we face a complex and monumental task ahead, and we seek the cooperation of all customers of WTC Noida projects to move forward together, seeking whatever legal options are available to detach the Delivered Projects.

What does the Association plan to do about the pending Registration of Investors whose registry hasn't been done yet?

Once we secure the support of the majority of investors in the WTC Delivered Projects situated at plot 13A, our plan is to either correct the functioning of RSK or form an entirely new Trust for the smooth running of the Trust, working for the overall support of the investors and beneficiaries. While this is undoubtedly a mammoth task, it is entirely achievable within the framework of law when backed by collective support.

As a senior citizen who invested my savings in WTC, what are the chances of recovering my investment?

A significant number of WTC investors are senior citizens and retired individuals who entrusted their life savings with the expectation of secure returns, only to find themselves trapped. Our earnest commitment is to voice the concerns of all investors across every possible forum and to pursue a determined legal battle until their grievances are fully addressed. At the same time, we are working to maximise the value of available assets and devise strategies to either complete the pending projects or secure refunds for the affected investors.

How is your association different from other groups or forums?

Our association stands apart because of its clearly defined objectives and the unique blend of technical and legal expertise within our team. Unlike general forums, we are equipped to actively pursue solutions rather than just discuss issues.
